Nickie Kinsey is a second year, master's level Social Work intern. Nickie works with adults, adolescents, and children. She helps individuals and families who are experiencing difficulty in their relationships, managing anger, addiction, stress, depression, anxiety, and grief. Nickie also works with teens and children with behavioral issues.
Nickie is a student at ASU and will receive her Masters in May 2010. She received her Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science in 2007. During the 2008-2009 school year she was a school social worker at Echo Mountain Elementary School where she provided crisis counseling and facilitated groups. She joined the staff at Deer Valley Counseling for the 2009-2010 school year as an intern counselor.
