Sandra Nettles is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She works with both adults and adolescents. She helps clients with many issues such as relationships, anger management, troubled teens, addiction, stress, depression, anxiety, grief and sexual issues.
In 2000, Sandra received a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she specialized in counseling. In 2001 she moved to Phoenix and began work at the Youth Development Institute, an inpatient adolescent treatment facility where she ran a group home for adolescent boys. In 2003 she opened her own private practice, Deer Valley Counseling.
"My focus is to help you learn the skills you need to improve your life, relationships and happiness. The past cannot be changed and so your well-being depends on what you do from this day forward. Together, we will identify areas where you would like to improve your life and then I will help you develop techniques, skills and new ways of looking at things that will result in the improvements you desire. If you need to process old feelings I will help you with that but soon we will turn to developing skills to help you succeed."
