Reduce the Risk of Domestic Violence

You cannot eliminate anger. Feeling angry from time to time is part of being human. But you can learn to channel your emotions and reduce the risk of domestic violence—

  • Identify Triggers, Thoughts and Feelings. You must identify and understand the external events, thoughts and feelings that lead to anger.
  • Coping Responses. You must learn improved ways to cope with triggers.
